On Day 1 of Session, Lawmakers Already Attacking Abortion Rights

On the first day of the legislative session, the No. 1 priority of lawmakers isn’t combatting COVID-19 or addressing our crumbling infrastructure – it’s all about attacking abortion rights and effectively ending Roe v. Wade in West Virginia.

The House Health and Human Resources Committee will take up bills tomorrow morning banning abortion after 15 weeks (HB 4004) and placing intrusive, cruel mandates for the disposal of fetal tissue (HB 4005). We need all of our supporters to call these members of the Committee now and tell them to vote NO. Tell them to focus on real problems in West Virginia, and stop trying to force people to give birth against their will.

Tell them you oppose ANY effort to restrict reproductive freedom in West Virginia.
