Join the ACLU of West Virginia for a special Memorial Day showing of our amazing pop-up exhibit of political cartoons during ArtSpring in Thomas, WV. The political cartoons all explore the First Amendment, and the show features cartoons from some of the most respected cartoonists in the country, including numerous Pulitzer Prize winners.
The exhibit will open at 4:30 pm on Friday, May 24th. At 5:00 pm, join ACLU-WV Executive Director Joseph Cohen for a discussion about political cartoons, freedom of speech, and the current political climate surrounding First Amendment issues. You won't want to miss this event.
The exhibit will be held inside the Allegheny Holistic Health Care/Mountain Yoga space (220 State Highway 32, Thomas, WV 26292) and will remain up throughout the weekend until 3:00 pm Sunday, May 26th! We hope to see you for our discussion and share these incredible political cartoons with you!
